| Christianity in Crisis - The 21st Century Multitudes of Christians have been given a wildly distorted understanding of the biblical teaching about "faith." In the late twentieth century, Word of Faith Teachers, such as Kenneth Hagin and Benny Hinn, were at the fore.
In the early twenty-first, they are overshadowed by a new breed of prosperity preachers with even bigger platforms, like Joel Osteen, John Hagee, Joyce Meyer, and Todd Bentley, who are increasingly viewed as mainstream. T.D. Jakes is trumpeted by Time Magazine as perhaps the "the next Billy Graham."
And that is precisely why I have decided to launch a major new release titled Christianity in Crisis - The 21st Century.
I am convinced that if occult sources such as The Secret pose the greatest threat to the body of Christ from without, the deadly doctrines disseminated by this new crop of prosperity preachers pose the greatest threat to authentic Christianity from within.
Thousands have been helped out of the Faith movement by the Christian Research Institute, but many more must be rescued. And to say thank you for your continued faithfulness, I want to send you a sneak preview booklet of Christianity in Crisis - The 21st Century long before the book hits bookstores this Spring 2009!

It fills my heart with joy to hear you and your guests speak on the importance of loving one another.
This website is a beautiful bright spot in the darkness of this world.
I have only recently discovered this wonderful place, and I look forward to spending time listening every day.

I love going into your devotionals and just soaking up all these writers have to say. It brings great joy to my day. I want to thank each of you for your sweet words of encouragement in these devotionals. Thank you so much for all that you do.
We have been in Egypt for the past 4 months (our home is in Idaho) and will be here for an indefinite amount of time. The thing we miss most from home is our connection to Christian Radio. When I found this website it was a God send. Thank you for providing an internet avenue to access the wonderfully uplifting programs that share the Word of God. I just read "Getting Priorities Straight" which is exactly the discussion that my husband and I have had recently. Being far from home, it is easy to get caught up in the struggles of third world living (and how tired it makes one). We were just discussing how we have got to get first things first back into our everyday life. Amazingly, I read this article and it was posted on our anniversary! Thank you for an uplifting ministry.

It is true that if we take our focus off our daily
troubles and concentrate more on what good
things God has done for us, our faith will be
strengthened.

Evaluating Experiences from Roger Oakland The Bible states that faith comes by hearing the word of God. However there are many people today who believe that the word is not sufficient alone and that faith must be linked to some sort of a spiritual experience. So how do we evaluate if an experience is true or deceptive? Does the Bible have the answer?
